Paul Morris announced that he is initiating a program providing adult production companies with advice concerning federal laws, including the record keeping requirements of the Child Protection and Obscenity Enforcement Act of 1988. This service will be available to any company that isn’t able to afford guidance regarding the controversial federal regulations.“The laws are labyrinthine, difficult, changeable and extremely punitive,” said Paul Morris. “For smaller companies that aren’t able to afford advice regarding compliance, this can make for a dangerous situation. Personally, I don’t want to see a single company go under because of all this.”

The program aims to assist companies and company owners who are uncertain about changing federal requirements for adult producers. Ultimately, the project would result in an industry-wide network of resources, knowledge and intra-industry support.
