HD-DVD + porn = disaster.

Just spotted a SERIOUS problem with HD DVD in porn.

You can see everything. And I do mean EVERYTHING.

Every butt pimple, every strand of cellulitis, every imperfection.

In some cases, it´s a hell of a turn down.

I saw some stuff from a company that shall remain nameless, but prides itself of shooting in "true HD-DVD". Well, their movies are truly unwatchable just because of that.

There are some actresses, who also shall remain nameless, that I started to despise after seeing their details up close. Ugh.

Of course, the better the definition of any support or hardware, the better you see the defects in the pic. And not just in porn: old sci-fi's tend to be a problem because you can see everything that you're not supposed to, like wires, blue screen matting, etc.

But when you watch a restored THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL and see all the cables used to make Gort carry the girl on his arms, you don´t mind cause you're already sold by the movie as a whole.

But porn is made for the sole purpose of jacking off, with no other redeeming value.

So when you see a girl full of bruises, ingrown ass hairs, pussy pimples, canyons of cellulitis and leg veins, you not only care, but you want your money back.
